OMEGA can take the credit for supporting / partnering with small and medium scale enterprises, small traders who are in and around Manipal, Udupi and Mangalore in enabling them to strive towards excellence in their business. Entrepreneurs approach OMEGA with their problems or projects and OMEGAns (Student Members) solve their problem or help them in growing their business. A nominal fee for consulting is charged; which makes OMEGA the only earning forum of TAPMI. It provides a platform for interaction between students and local entrepreneurs.

In this process, students get an exposure to the industry and also the problems faced by the industry LIVE. The students also seek guidance from the faculty members for solving the issues. The knowledge of the students is not just limited to academics. More than 70% of the students at TAPMI are with work experience in diverse fields such as Consulting, Information Technology, FMCG, Supply Chain, Retail, Heavy Engineering, Chemical and much more. The combined knowledge of academics, work experience and the expertise of the faculties are the key factors which add value to the solutions OMEGA provides.
