Biography

  • Prof.Prashant Yatgiri is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with M.B.A. specializing in Marketing area. He has industry experience of more than 5 years in the Marketing domain of Kirloskar Group of Companies before taking up a long-term career in academics. He is qualified in the NET examination [Management Stream] conducted by UGC, New Delhi and has obtained his Ph.D in the area of  ‘E-Business Transformational Strategies’. He has an academic experience of more than 20 years, teaching a wide range of Marketing related courses at the post-graduate level. He has also served in various administrative positions of importance along with his teaching assignment.

  • Marketing Management-I, Marketing Management-II, Consumer Behaviour, Business to Business Marketing, Services Marketing.

Research

  • His research interests lie in the area of Consumer Behaviour particularly Consumer involvement and Consumer Loyalty.
