Biography

  • Rahul Sukumaran is a PhD, from IIM Trichy, in the area of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of identity (the concept of the self or ‘who am I?’) and organizational change. Several of his papers have been presented at prestigious international venues such as EGOS (European Group of Organization Studies), ECP (European Congress of Psychology) etc. He has worked as a faculty member with Amrita School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore in the past two years. And he has taught courses such as Organizational Behavior, Qualitative Research Methods and Leadership, in both the MBA and PhD programs, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. In addition, he has also worked in corporate houses such as Pearson, Oxford, etc. Essentially, he has worked in both corporate and academic environments. Rahul believes in setting a continuous growth mindset for himself and encourages others around him to follow their passion. As a part of this vision, he runs a YouTube channel and writes blogs in his free time.

  • June 2019: ICMS, Research writing and media workshop, Open University, London,
    U.K. This is a highly selective workshop where my paper was one amongst 20
    selected. The key discussant was Prof. Katie Beavan, Harvard University, USA.
