Biography

  • Sagar Ghuge is a dedicated researcher and professional in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. He recently submitted his PhD thesis, titled “Role of Additive Manufacturing in Spare Part Management,” at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai. His research focuses on the transformative potential of additive manufacturing within the supply chain, particularly in optimizing spare part management.

    Sagar brings over five years of experience in new product development, where he has significantly contributed to advancing product innovation and engineering practices. His practical experience is complemented by a strong academic background, including one year of teaching as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Mumbai University.

    Sagar’s work exemplifies a blend of theoretical insight and hands-on expertise, making him a valuable asset in both academic and industrial settings. His commitment to advancing the field is reflected in his research and professional endeavors.
