Biography

  • Dr. Vijayaraghavan earned her Ph.D. from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India. Her doctoral work was in the area of Gender and Intersectionality studies, exploring the politics of Piety in the works of select Arab women writers. As an academic and researcher, her research spans Critical Food Studies, Gender and Intersectionality, English & Cultural studies and Critical Pedagogy. Currently, her keen interest lies in the area of Critical Food Studies, especially in its development and engagement of it in the context of India.
