APPLICATION INFO

The application deadline for the 2020 Winter School on Bounded Rationality is October 30, 2019 midnight (12am IST).

For those participants who apply by October 15, 2019, acceptance decision shall be intimated by End of October 2019.

The participants of the winter school should be early career researchers or talented doctoral/postdoctoral fellows from all disciplines who are interested in the study of human judgment and decision making. They should be receptive to crossing disciplinary boundaries and be willing to critically evaluate reigning assumptions in their fields. The winter school values diversity and urges applicants from under-represented groups to apply.

The registration for winter school is free of charge. With the support of the Max Planck Institute and T. A. Pai Management Institute, accepted participants will be provided with accommodation at the TAPMI guest house and some meals that include breakfast, lunch, and tea, at TAPMI cafeteria.

We can provide limited travel grant to full-time doctoral scholars (currently not yet awarded their PhD degree) who ask for it in the application form. Therefore, we encourage participants in employment (Post-doctoral scholars, early career researchers and industry participants) to apply for funding from their own universities/institutions. The maximum travel allowance is Rs. 15,000 for intercontinental flights and Rs. 10,000 for travel within India.
