Yehuda Baruch
Yehuda Baruch (DSc Technion, Israel, PostDoc at City University and London Business School) is a Professor of Management at Southampton Business School, the University of Southampton, UK, and Affiliated Professor, Audencia, Nantes France. His research covers a broad range of topics, with a particular focus on careers and global HRM. He has published over 175 refereed papers, including in Journal of Management, Academy of Management Annals, Human Resource Management, Organizational Dynamics, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Relations, Research Policy and Organization Studies, among other journals, and over 50 books and book chapters. Arup Varma
Arup Varma is Professor and the Frank W Considine Chair in Applied Ethics at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago (USA). He holds a PhD from Rutgers University, New Jersey (USA), a PGDPM in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur (India), and a BSc (Hons) from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata (India).
Dr. Varma’s research interests include performance appraisal, expatriate issues, and HRM issues in India. He has published over 100 articles in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Human Resource Management (USA), Human Resource Management Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Management, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of World Business, Personnel Psychology, and Tourism Management Perspectives, etc.
He has also co-edited seven books, including such titles as Performance Management Systems: A Global Perspective – 2nd Ed. (forthcoming), Global HRM Series, London: Routledge (co-editors P. He has guest-lectured in countries around the world, including Cuba, China, Germany, Guatemala, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
He has won multiple awards for teaching, research, and service, including the 2017 Alumnus Award for Academics from his alma mater, XLRI. He has also consulted with global organizations on human resources and strategic topics. Finally, he is co-founder and past President of the Indian Academy of Management (est. 2007).
In 2018, he spent 6 months in India, at IIM Lucknow, on a Fulbright scholarship, studying performance management of expatriates.
