Dr. Umang Varshney is an accomplished scholar specializing in operations management, with a keen focus on integrating blockchain technology within supply chain contexts. During Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Dr. Varshney explores innovative strategies for luxury brands in the second-hand market, aiming to enhance sustainability and profitability. His academic prowess is evidenced by his forthcoming and in-review publications in high-impact journals. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, and has professional experience as an Engineer in AVL’s Technical R&D Center. Dr. Varshney is actively involved in academic and professional communities, contributing to conferences and workshops focused on blockchain’s implications for luxury brands and e-commerce. His research interests extend to game theory, structural equation modeling, behavioural operations and the strategic use of blockchain for digital transformation in business applications.
