The Journal of Business and Management Excellence (JoBME) is committed to promoting high-quality research in key management disciplines, bridging the gap between theory and practice. Scope
This journal invites high-quality research across diverse management disciplines, including operations management, supply chain optimization, marketing management, financial management, human resources, organization science, information systems, analytics, sustainable business practices, and international business. The journal welcomes a wide range of methodological approaches, accepting both qualitative and quantitative research. It encourages the submission of empirical studies, conceptual frameworks, analytical models, and review papers that provide fresh insights into contemporary business challenges and opportunities. The journal is particularly interested in research that addresses issues such as process optimization, customer engagement, financial risk management, talent development, digital transformation, sustainability, and ethical business practices. Studies that explore international business environments and global market dynamics are also welcome. Interdisciplinary approaches that combine insights from multiple management fields to solve complex organizational problems are highly valued. Respected Academicians, Researchers, and Industry Professionals,
T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, invites submissions for its Journal of Business and Management Excellence (JoBME). The journal provides a platform to bridge academic research with business practice, fostering critical discussions on contemporary management challenges. We welcome high-quality research that contributes to advancing business excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
Researchers will receive an incentive of 5000 INR upon the successful acceptance of their paper in the journal. This reward recognizes their valuable contributions and encourages high-quality scholarly submissions.

Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and written in English.
- Submissions should be formatted as per the JoBME author guidelines.
- Referencing should follow APA style (latest edition).
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Word format (.doc/.docx).
- The content must align with the themes of the journal and provide practical or theoretical insights.
- Submissions will be subject to a review process before acceptance.

Author Guidelines
T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, publishes the Journal of Business and Management Excellence (JoBME), a research-driven initiative aligned with the institute’s mission to foster excellence in management education, research, and practice.
JoBME invites research papers, conceptual articles, and review articles for publication in its upcoming issue. Submissions must contribute to contemporary management discourse by demonstrating novelty, practical application, or theoretical advancement in the field of business and management.
Manuscript Formatting & Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must be in English, formatted in MS Word using Times New Roman, font size 12, double spacing.
- Abstract: A concise summary of 200 words, followed by 4 to 6 keywords.
- Structure: Clearly defined sections, numbered as 1.1, 1.2, 1.2.1, etc., where applicable.
- Tables, Graphs, Footnotes, and References should be incorporated within the text and numbered sequentially using Arabic Numerals
- Referencing Style: APA (latest edition).
- Margins: 2.54cm on all sides. No manual pagination is required.
- Length Restrictions:
- Original Research Papers: 5000 to 7000 words, including all tables and figures.
- Review Papers and Conceptual Papers: 6000 to 8000 words including all tables and figures.
- Submissions must be sent on jobme@manipal.edu along with a cover letter highlighting the relevance of the manuscript with the journal’s aims and scope.
Ethical Considerations & Review Process
- Proper acknowledgment of sources is mandatory. Authors must obtain permission to use any copyrighted material.
- All submissions will undergo a review process. Authors will be notified of revisions or resubmission requirements.
- JoBME is not responsible for any copyright infringements. The sole responsibility lies with the authors.
- The editorial team reserves the right to reject papers that do not meet quality standards or ethical requirements.
- The manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism, and those with a significant similarity index will be rejected.
- Manuscripts that rely excessively on artificial intelligence (AI) for writing, data analysis, or research without significant human intellectual contribution will not be considered for publication. Authors must disclose any AI usage and ensure that their work reflects original thought, critical analysis, and scholarly integrity.

Peer Review Process
At JoBME, we prioritize publishing high-quality, well-organized, and impactful research that resonates with a multidisciplinary management audience. The selection process emphasizes originality, clarity, and relevance to contemporary business and management challenges.
Double-Blind Review Process
- All scholarly submissions undergo a preliminary assessment to ensure alignment with JoBME’s focus, target readership, and writing style.
- Eligible manuscripts are subjected to a plagiarism check using Turnitin or similar tools.
- If deemed suitable, manuscripts proceed to a double-blind peer review conducted by two independent experts in the respective field.
- Reviewers evaluate submissions based on relevance, originality, technical rigor, and contribution to the discipline.
Review Timeline & Outcomes
- The peer review process typically takes up to three months from the date of submission.
- Possible outcomes include:
- Accepted (minor or no revisions)
- Accepted with Revisions (subject to mandatory modifications)
- Rejected (due to lack of significance, originality, clarity, or excessive length)
- If revisions are requested, resubmission does not guarantee final acceptance. A resubmitted manuscript may undergo further review, possibly by new reviewers.
- Only one resubmission is permitted per manuscript. Extensive review comments are provided only for conditionally accepted papers.
Non-Peer-Reviewed Content
- The editorial content are not subject to peer review but are evaluated for quality and relevance by the editorial team.

Submission Portal
The Authors must submit their full manuscript to jobme@manipal.edu along with a cover letter.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that their submission adheres to the following guidelines. Submissions that do not comply may be returned for revision:
✅The submission is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by any other journal. If applicable, an explanation has been provided in the Comments section for the editor.
✅The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
✅Where available, URLs for references have been provided.
✅The text is single-spaced, uses a 12-point font, and employs italics instead of underlining (except for URLs).
✅All illustrations, figures, and tables are embedded within the text at appropriate points rather than at the end of the document.
✅The manuscript adheres to JoBME’s Author Guidelines, including formatting and referencing requirements.
Note: Manuscripts that do not comply with the submission guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction before being considered for peer review.
