Businesses hence are moving towards sustainability to thrive in varied conditions , converting challenges into opportunities and building conglomerates. Our leadership lecture series aims to capture the essence of building and nurturing sustainable businesses. Dr B R Shetty has encapsulated his experiences in a magnificent manner and lent credence to the belief that growth of a business is in its ability to sustain challenges in any environment in which it operates.”
Sustainability is a crucial dimension of a successful business today. Gone are the days of businesses that exist purely for making profits. Today increasingly global businesses are built on the model of people, plant and profit. Considered a pioneer in healthcare, Dr. Shetty shared his experience of building a successful global organization and more importantly what it takes to build a sustainable business globally.
“Entrepreneurship is about creating something valuable without having much of money. One should always accept obstacles. Corporate social responsibility should never be forgotten” Dr.Shetty said.
