TAPMI Signs First French-India PhD Exchange Program in Management

The first Indo-French Knowledge Summit for university, scientific and technology cooperation was successfully held in New Delhi. During the summit, TAPMI signed the first French India PhD exchange in Management memorandum with Rennes School of Business, France. With this memorandum, each year selected PhD students from TAPMI would pursue their thesis as also develop ties for potential joint research collaboration, while Master students/ PhD from Rennes School of Business would follow 2 semesters at TAPMI.
Speaking of the MOU, Prof Dayashankar, Head of International Relations, TAPMI said, “The move shows a clear intent from Rennes School of Business to enable a long-term strategy towards international joint researches where they would collaborate at an early stage in their journey. With 90% of faculty members coming from 40 countries around the world, the French triple Accredited School is an ideal partner for its international counterpart in not only ensuring academic excellence, but also in its ability to welcome on the long run international faculty.” T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), one among the 6 institutes in India accredited by the International AACSB.
The summit was conducted with an aim to promote Franco-India cooperation for next five years, in association with various firms. During this high-profile congress, Rennes School of Business was honoured for their in depth ties with India in the presence of the French Minister of Higher Education and Research, Mrs Frederique Vidal, and the India Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar.
